Projects & Transactions

Shepherd Shaw has advised on a wide range of projects and transactions across the infrastructure and real estate sectors in Australia and internationally. These are summarised in the Transaction & Project Portfolio

Projects and transactions falls into four categories as outlined in the Service Framework

  • Transactions to acquire the rights to develop and then operate new assets. The rights may be acquired outright or through a concession agreement, such as a PPP
  • Transactions to acquire the rights to operate existing assets. Again, the rights may be acquitted outright or through a concession agreement, such as a PPP
  • Projects to add value through development or expansion of existing assets. These projects operate on assets to which the client (or investor) already has the rights
  • Transactions to sell an existing investment
